In 2017, as I embarked on my professional career and sought comfort in my natural hair journey, I realized the need for a supportive space for other professionals with natural hair. My goal was to help create a lane of beauty that was “uncommon” in professional environments. Fueled by this passion, I sought to bring awareness and change to how natural hair is perceived and treated in professional settings. By fostering open conversations and advocating for respectful behavior, I hope to pave the way for others to confidently embrace their natural hair at work.
