Hidden Opportunity Access

ERG leaders at your target companies know about roles 2-3 weeks before they're posted publicly. Search "[Company Name] Black Employee Network" on LinkedIn. Attend their public events. Build relationships. Don't pitch yourself, just contribute. The job leads will follow.

Action this week: Pick 3 companies. Find their Black ERGs. Request to join next event. Show up and build genuine connection.

INTERVIEW STRATEGY

Stop Answering Questions They Didn't Ask

When they ask "Tell me about yourself," don't give them your life story. Give them a 90-second narrative: where you started, what you've accomplished, why you're here. Over-explaining makes you sound defensive. Confidence is in the edit.
